Before the National Day holiday, Shenzhen Chuangmei Industrial Co., Ltd. seized favorable construction conditions to accelerate the construction of the emergency project for upgrading and renovating the Shenzhen Center for Disease Control and Prevention laboratory. Nearly a hundred people toiled day and night, working overtime to meet deadlines, ensure progress, and ensure quality. To strengthen the public health emergency management system and comprehensively enhance Shenzhen's ability to respond to public health emergencies, everyone, from senior management to staff, worked tirelessly. To meet milestones as quickly as possible, they all remained at their posts, pushing the project forward at full speed, aiming to transform the'Golden Week for Tourism' into a'Golden Week for Construction.'

The Shenzhen Center for Disease Control and Prevention is a public welfare institution run by the Shenzhen Municipal Government, providing technical management and services for disease prevention and control, public health, and prevention. Promoting the disease control spirit of'unity, innovation, science, and dedication,' and fulfilling its professional mission of'protecting healthy lives,' the center aims to become a first-class national center for disease prevention and control. From 2002 to 2009, the center achieved 23 scientific research achievements at various levels. Its research focuses on infectious diseases such as AIDS, viral hepatitis, influenza, avian influenza, malaria, SARS, and Legionella; non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, stroke, and malignant tumors; and parasitic diseases, among other areas.

The Shenzhen Center for Disease Control and Prevention laboratory upgrade and renovation emergency project, located at 8 Longyuan Road, Nanshan District, Shenzhen, plans to upgrade and renovate the physiochemical, toxicology, and microbiology laboratories, as well as the comprehensive service building, logistics building, and cafeteria. The project is scheduled to be completed in 20 days and covers an area of approximately 36,218 square meters. The project includes ventilation, HVAC, pure water, wastewater, interior decoration, and laboratory furniture and equipment. Seven projects have already been fully implemented.

Steady progress is being made with high quality and quantity, and every effort is being made to ensure the project is on schedule.

Faced with a tight deadline and insufficient staff, Chuangmei Industrial Group Chairman Jiang Xudong and Deputy General Manager Wang Yong, a senior executive stationed on-site, convened an emergency meeting to develop an emergency implementation plan. Taking into account the project's unique characteristics, on-site construction conditions, and the Chuangmei spirit of'fearless and down-to-earth' and the company's inherent strengths, they decided to implement a three-shift system, employing modular products and standardized construction techniques to ensure system quality and meet construction schedule requirements.

To ensure the project schedule was met, Chuangmei's on-site project personnel proactively sought work areas, exploiting every available opportunity and working around the clock. Furthermore, they employed a comprehensive support and hanger solution for the fabrication and installation of pipe supports, saving valuable time for the smooth and timely completion of the project.
